The Generation 3 cable is constructed of fine stranded, high-purity
silver-plated copper wire in a star-quad configuration with a braided
outer shield. Each channelis four bundles of strands,separately Teflon
insulated and then configured together into two positive and two nega-
-tive conductors.A tightly coupled outer shield and dense outer jacket
reduce interference by radio-frequency and electromagnetic fields,and
minimize micro-movement of the signal wires.
