对于三越品牌机器的客户，为了避免意外，也让DF兄省一些精力，需要的话，管子都发到我这里， 我试听检查以后再发给客户。

我现在拿到一对ken rad vt231碳屏，是我听过的6sn7最好声的了，插上就不想拿下来，温暖、润泽、厚实。但一直想入上面的两个，据说更好，尤其是5692。麻烦介绍一下。谢谢！

5692是超低噪音,高抗震,长寿命设计的6SN7, 如果你追求低麦克风效应,大动态,快速度,背景宁静,长寿命,5692是很好的选择,以50年代RCA 红座白字5692最为出名.

40年代的VT231 从听感上讲并不输给 5692, 韵味甚至更好,只是并非高长寿命抗震设计罢了.后期的VT231=6SN7GT则差一些.


关于6SN7下面是老美的评价,供参考,我就不翻译了,呵呵

RCA VT-231, black plates, rich harmonic structure, beautiful timbre and voicing, wide soundstage

6SN7W or WGT Sylvania black plates – Tied for second and came in first if your system sounds a little laid back, especially some single ended amplifiers – Excellent low level detail resolution, very immediate sounding with a lot of Slam. There are three types of these tubes, two large bottle types, one has a metal ring and one smaller bottle with  smaller plate structure. The smaller one has better low level detail and the larger ones have more slam.

Raytheon VT-231, black flat plates - like the Tungsol a little sweeter, nice balance of detail and timbre

Ken-Rad VT-231, flat black plates - Great Bass, drive, sweet midrange, good bandwidth althought micrphonic tendencies on preamps.

Sylvania VT-231, black plates, wide bandwidth, well balanced, excellent sound stage and air.

Sylvania 1952 JAN-CHS-6SN7GT bottom getter: construction identical to the earlier VT231 but sonics are not, exceeds the VT231 in every respect, real bad boys excell in every area, big tight bass, warm detailed mids, extended smooth highs, very open

National Union VT-231 - good drive and great midrange, softer bass and a touch euphonic

Tung-Sol 6SN7WGT, Black Plate, brown base – Sounds similar to the Tung-Sol VT-231, not as clean

Tung-Sol 6SN7WGT, Black Plate, brown base – Very good bandwidth, bass, detail and soundstage,

CBS/HYTRON 6SN7GT, Black Plate, quiet and musical, the best of the non-military tubes

Ken-Rad6SN7GT, black base, bass a little tubby, but clean with great ambiance and air

Sylvania Green Label 6SN7GT, first top getter on the list, non-fatiguing, smooth, with good detail resolution and bandwidth, plus its easy to find and afford.

RCA Black Plate 6SN7GT, still a side getter, rich harmonic structure and maybe a little too sweet.

Sylvania Green Label 6SN7GTB, rich harmonic structure, good midrange, decent soundstage

General Electric Black Plate 6SN7GTA, the great driver tube? Fast, wide bandwidth, smooth sound at the expense of the of low level detail. Along with the Sylvania 6SN7GTB, a great “fourth” tube in Atma-Sphere amps.

Sylvania Green Label 6SN7WGT, Top Getter, “silver top” , very clean with great detail resolution and speed. Bass can be a little tubby and midrange a little congested.

6SN7WGTA, Sylvania black base green label, clean and fast with great drive, good bass

CBS-Hytron 5692, fast, good dynamics, lot of air and great timbre

RCA Red Base 5692, very warm sweet sound, great on voices and jazz

RCA 6SN7GTB, rich midrange, warm sound, likes being combined with other 6SN7 types, likes the Atma-Spheres

G.E 6SN7GTB, Gray plates, work horse, lacks refinement, a good tube

The VT-231 was the military purchasing and inventory control number up until about 1945 or so. The tubes were often also marked with the JAN-xxx prefix as well. It seems that the VT-231 number was dropped around the time the WWII effort was winding down.
But there was a lot of variation even before 1945. I have Raytheons made in 1943 which have only VT-231 marked on them, and the same vintage only marked JAN-CRP-6SN7GT.

Raytheon is CRP, Sylvania CHS, RCA CRC, CBS-Hytron JHY, Tungsol CTL, KenRad CKR.

It's also worth knowing that there is a common misconception about those VT-231 numbered tubes. It's nothing more than a number. If you find a 6SN7GT of the same vintage, it will be identical to the VT-231 numbered version. I have here Sylvania 6SN7GT from 1945 identical to the VT-231 numbered tube, and Raytheon 6SN7GT 1944 identical to the 1944 VT-231. Also RCA's, Tungsols, and so on. There is no magical significance to the VT-231 number. But some people think there is, because salesmen have told them so. It's become popular folklore in tube circles.

It's only so because VT-231 branded tubes are so common today, as the military kept thousands in warehouses collecting dust for decades until some bureaucrat figured out there was no equipment that would ever use them. The equivalent commercial branded tube was never kept in warehouses for decades, and in any event, most production of commercial tubes was severely rationed to keep war production up - so there were few produced with the commercial 6SN7GT branding.

还是一句话：相信三越就是少走弯路。支持！

没看明白老外的英文。
ken rad vt231听了几天，最终不想拿下来了，要比天梭NOS及天梭复刻要有味道的多，如果不比RCA5692差的话，就不想换了，本想出掉它买5692的。

反复换管子比较的直接结果——好几个手指被烫出泡！又要换皮了。。。。。。
